The Barque Europa was built as the lightship Elbe 3. In 1986 she was brought to the Netherlands. Over 8 years, she was rebuilt and rigged as a three-masted bark. A professional crew of 14 with 48 voyage crewmembers of all ages and nationalities sail her. In a light breeze 30 sails bellow from the ship.
