| The Calumet was built as the Paul Thayer at Lorain in 1973. Oglebay Norton took over ownership in 1994 and renamed her the Earl W. Oglebay in 1995. In 2006, Oglebay Norton got out of the vessel operations business and the vessel was sold and eventually came under the ownership of Grand River Navigation. For a short while she was renamed the Earl W before becoming the Calumet. |
