| She is owned and operated by Great Lakes Fleet. The home office is in Duluth. She was changed from a straight deck bulk carrier to a self-unloader during the winter of 1981-82. She had already been lengthened by 120 feet in 1974, making her now 767 feet long. Before the 2001 season, her steam powered navigation system was automated, allowing her to go faster using less fuel. |
