| She is the most powerful ship on the Great Lakes, generating 19,500 hp with two diesel engines. She has a self-unloading boom on deck that can be extended to shore to discharge cargo at a rate of 10,000 tons per hour.
This ship was named for the President of the United States Steel Company from 1967 to 1969. |
